“It’s Halloween night and all sorts of ghosts, goblins and witches are out ringing door bells, and saying, ‘Trick or Treat.’ But, is that creature at the front door just a kid dressed up, or could it be a real witch? Donald Duck didn’t believe in witches, ghosts and goblins, and so he would play nasty tricks on all the trick or treaters who came to his front door. That is until one Halloween night when he met Hazel, Witch Hazel, that is. With the help of Donald’s three nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, who had just been tricked by their Uncle Donald, Hazel made this Halloween night one he would never forget.”

Taken from the record album cover which was a recording of the Donald Duck short Trick Or Treat (released October 10th, 1952) the record is narrated by Ginny Tyler…

The short itself is the classic Donald as described above…there’s even a catchy song in it…

Directed by Jack Hannah & with voice work by Clarence “Ducky” Nash (Donald Duck & Huey, Dewey & Louie) & June Foray as the witch in the short named Hazel…the classic short was even turned into a comic book by the “Duckman” himself, creator of Uncle Scrooge Carl Barks in Donald Duck #26…

Funko has now made a Pop out of the suits the nephews they wore on Halloween…
